Geographic Targeting in Email Marketing for Education Sector

This college wanted to experiment with email marketing as an addition to its current marketing plans. This initiative was positioned as a test, to see how effective we could be at email targeting at a local level.
ICS identified a cost effective means to target email prospects at the local level. Demographic and geographic screens were used to qualify the list. ICS assisted the client in crafting the email, incorporating links to the web site and additional information. ICS coordinated the email blast and response tabulation.
Results were encouraging. Open rates were quickly tabulated and perceived higher than expected. ICS was able to help track "click-through" rates to the client's web site.
